Effective June 1, American Claims Management (ACM) took over the third party administration of all Georgia and California personal auto claims for National Unity Insurance Company. The contract involves roughly 1,200 existing claims and several hundred new claims that will continue to be reported each month.
Scalability, technology, depth of auto claims expertise and bilingual capabilities were all crucial considerations during the selection process.
Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, National Unity is the leader in insuring vehicles traveling from Mexico to the United States and Canada. The company owns more than 60 percent of this niche market, with more than 24 years of uninterrupted service.
National Unity sought a third party administrator (TPA) that could manage and scale a high volume of personal auto claims with a superior customer service reputation, a relentless eye for detail; a special investigative unit; and advanced expertise in subrogation and salvage. Furthermore, the company required a sophisticated technology interface to streamline processes and provide advanced analytics. ACM delivered on all fronts.
“By applying our technology and expertise, we expect to improve overall service, while generating considerable savings in both indemnity and expense on behalf of National Unity,” says ACM President of P&C, Dhara Patel.
