Dhara Patel

ACM President

Dhara Patel oversees the general and professional liability, property, commercial and personal auto claims services for ACM, along with the operations, accounting and information systems departments. In addition, she oversees our multi-line claims systems development team, business analysts, database administrators and the SSAE 18 compliance team. Dhara also produces a wide range of management reports to our carriers and self-insured clients that include data for underwriters, carriers and reinsurers.

During her 20-year insurance career, Dhara has handled complex claims for general liability, property, professional liability, E&O, D&O and construction defects. Prior to joining ACM in 2001, Dhara was a litigation and securities paralegal at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Information Technology, plus a graduate degree in Accounting. Dhara is a current member on the board of directors for the International Association of Claims Professionals and a frequent claims expert source for Insurance Journal.

Brock Howard


Brock Howard leads our property and casualty claims operation, as well as our Superior Recovery Services subrogation team. Brock began his insurance career as a field auto claims representative, then specialized in injury and litigation claim handling before taking on management roles leading claims teams in some of the nation’s most challenging venues.

After leading the auto claims organization in Florida for a Top 10 national carrier, Brock took on the claims leadership role for a new multiregional residential and commercial property carrier specializing in coastal exposures. There he developed and implemented that carrier’s claims processes from the ground up, while leading responses to numerous catastrophic events. Throughout his career, Brock has focused on providing outstanding service to both external customers and internal partners. Brock has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.

Tim Allen

Vice President, Property & Casualty

Tim manages all aspects of our property and casualty claims operation. His insurance claims career began as a field claim representative, engaging customers and claimants face-to-face in investigations and negotiations. He subsequently supervised property and casualty claim units in Florida and California before taking on roles managing entire claim operations in the Northeast, Midwest and then ultimately returning to Florida. Prior to joining ACM, Tim’s 25-year insurance career included The Hartford and Travelers, with hands-on experience managing personal and commercial property losses, automobile, PIP and general liability. He has been involved in the management of multiple catastrophe responses, a first notice of loss call center for a large carrier and partnered with underwriters and regulators to address unique claim exposures in specific venues. Tim’s varied technical and leadership background and training have uniquely equipped him to complement ACM’s claims team. Tim has a bachelors from Emory University.

Maureen Seifert

Vice President, Property & Casualty

Maureen brings 31 years of strong claims handling and management experience in the insurance industry. Her insurance career began in 1988 at Crawford & Company, handling claims. She was claims manager for CIS Financial Inc. for 13 years, managing a large staff of claims professionals.

Maureen is involved in litigation management, complex coverage analysis, establishing claims handling protocol, claim system enhancements and executing regular claim audits for all lines of coverage.

Her professional designations include Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Risk Management for Public Entities (ARM-P). Maureen maintains adjuster licensing in 26 states and holds a Colorado Producer license. She is an instructor for the CPCU Society, teaching both AIC (Associate in Claims) and CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters) courses.
