Dhara Patel

ACM President

Dhara Patel oversees the general and professional liability, property, commercial and personal auto claims services for ACM, along with the operations, accounting and information systems departments. In addition, she oversees our multi-line claims systems development team, business analysts, database administrators and the SSAE 18 compliance team. Dhara also produces a wide range of management reports to our carriers and self-insured clients that include data for underwriters, carriers and reinsurers.

During her 20-year insurance career, Dhara has handled complex claims for general liability, property, professional liability, E&O, D&O and construction defects. Prior to joining ACM in 2001, Dhara was a litigation and securities paralegal at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Information Technology, plus a graduate degree in Accounting. Dhara is a current member on the board of directors for the International Association of Claims Professionals and a frequent claims expert source for Insurance Journal.

Tim Allen

Senior Vice President Property & Casualty Claims

Tim manages all aspects of our property and casualty claims operation. His insurance claims career began as a field claim representative, engaging customers and claimants face-to-face in investigations and negotiations. He subsequently supervised property and casualty claim units in Florida and California before taking on roles managing entire claim operations in the Northeast, Midwest and then ultimately returning to Florida. Prior to joining ACM, Tim’s 25-year insurance career included The Hartford and Travelers, with hands-on experience managing personal and commercial property losses, automobile, PIP and general liability. He has been involved in the management of multiple catastrophe responses, a first notice of loss call center for a large carrier and partnered with underwriters and regulators to address unique claim exposures in specific venues. Tim’s varied technical and leadership background and training have uniquely equipped him to complement ACM’s claims team. Tim has a bachelors from Emory University.

Jayne Miller

Senior Vice President

Jayne joined ACM’s Marquee Managed Care Solutions in 2011 as vice president, with 26 years of experience in workers’ compensation and managed care.  She is responsible for managing 25 staff handling bill review, utilization review/peer review, MPN/PPO networks and lien resolution.

Jayne began her career as a workers’ compensation claim adjuster for Hartford SRS.  Jayne quickly assumed ever-increasing responsibilities that led to management positions at Foundation Health and HealthNet/EOS Group, responsible for bill review and Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs). At Horizon Medical, Octagon Risk and Sedgwick CMS she added utilization review/peer review, NCM/FCM, MPN, lien handling and regulatory liaison to her existing bill review responsibilities.

Jayne is regularly called on to teach at seminars, testify at the California State Legislature, and participate in the California Department of Insurance (DOI) advisory panel.

Jeffrey Dalessandro

Vice President, Business Development – Workers’ Compensation

With well over 20 years experience handling and selling property and casualty claims, Jeffrey began his career at The Travelers Indemnity Company and has since held various Third Party Claims Administrator sales management positions at Constitution State Services, ACE ESIS and Crawford’s Broadspire. Before joining ACM, Jeffrey served as the Senior Vice President of Client Services for Succeed Management Solutions for their SAS based risk mitigation tools.

In March of 2012, Jeffrey began overseeing all of ACM’s new business development endeavors as it relates to third party administrator claims administration for both ACM’s Commercial and Personal Lines Divisions. As the Director of business development, he will also focus on promoting and selling ACM’s ancillary services including independent and field adjusting, fraud investigations, bill review, utilization review, peer review, MPN/PPO networks, subrogation and salvage recoveries, claim auditing and full catastrophe services

Jeffrey has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from California State University of Northridge.

Rod Perry

Vice President of Client Relations

Rod is the Vice President of Client Relations working with the ACM P&C team to provide superior claims services to our clients. Prior to joining ACM, Rod was the AXA Head of Global Operations for North America. During Rod’s 35-year career in the insurance and reinsurance industry he was employed in claims management positions by some of the industry’s most respected companies including Berkshire Hathaway Companies (Genesis Underwriting Mgt., Cologne Services Corp./Cologne Re), Fireman’s Fund Ins. Cos., Hanover Ins. Cos. and Liberty Mutual Ins. Cos. Rod served as a Board Member for the International Association of Claim Professionals for seven years and has served as a Board Member for several insurance and reinsurance companies. Rod received his B.S. in Business Management from the University of New Orleans.
