ACM was recently tapped by broker Beecher Carlson to handle claims management of one of their premiere national clients, DS Services of America.
“In our selection process, we looked at the technology innovations, claims records and service standards of a number of claims administrators to handle the workers’ compensation and auto liability claims for our client, and ACM exceeded our standards,” said Christian Florence, managing director of Beecher Carlson. “Additionally, the majority of our clients have a California presence, and ACM’s claims record in the state has been significant.”

Patel estimates that in the first year alone, ACM will be responsible for both administration and claims account oversight for approximately 1,000 claims in 31 of the 48 contiguous states in which DS Services operates. A large percentage of those claims are workers’ compensation. ACM is alone responsible for workers’ compensation claims administration in 18 of the 31 active exposure states. In the remaining 13 states, program account oversight will be provided in tandem with ACM’s national TPA partner Creative Risk Solutions.
Additionally ACM will be directly responsible for the administration of all auto liability claims that occur nationwide, estimated at 120 annually.
ACM will also provide managed care services through subsidiary Marquee Managed Care Solutions, Inc. for DS Services’ largest business exposure, which is in California. In all other states, ACM and sister company Clear Risk Solutions will work in tandem with EK Health.
